Alien Skin, the self-proclaimed “ghetto child,” is making waves in the music industry and is being touted as the next big thing to replace Bobi Wine. Some even say he’s like the reincarnation of Bobi Wine, only with a different skin tone and maybe a few less scars.
In an interview, Alien Skin expressed his admiration for Bobi Wine and revealed that he wanted to meet him to “drink from his pot of wisdom.” He hopes to gain insight from the veteran musician on how to navigate the industry and create a lasting impact.
Bobi Wine, on the other hand, has recently been singing the praises of Alien Skin, urging his critics to give the young musician a chance. “He’s got talent, he’s got heart, and he’s got what it takes to make it in this industry,” Bobi Wine said, while sipping on a glass of wine (no pun intended).
With Bobi Wine’s blessing and Alien Skin’s determination, it seems like the future of Ugandan music is in good hands. Who knows, maybe one day they’ll even collaborate on a track called “Skin and Wine” or “Alien Bobi.” We can only dream.
